The UBC 1 is a general-purpose 12/24V switchable 30Ah Ni-MH battery with built-in amp/volt meter, selector switch, analytical computer, and dual AMPHENOL/bare-wire outputs. Exempt from Class 9 Dangerous Goods — freely transportable by air, sea, or land fully charged.
The UBC 1 has been designed as a general purpose 12/24 volt 30Ah utilitarian rechargeable battery incorporating second generation Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries. With its built-in amp and volt meter this unit can be used to determine power requirements from any 12/24 volt DC equipment connected to it. A simple selector switch allows the operator to choose either 12 or 24 volts as required. A four-segment LED display shows the battery status via a simple press-to-test button. A built-in analytical computer allows information to be downloaded from the battery. Dual output sockets comprising of either AMPHENOL or bare-ended wire enhance the versatility of the UBC 1. Due to the chemistry of the battery, the UBC 1 is exempt from Class 9 Dangerous Goods Act, therefore allowing it to be transported by air, sea or land fully charged.
A simple selector switch allows the operator to instantly choose between 12 and 24 volts — making the UBC 1 compatible with the widest range of military and professional DC equipment.
The integrated amp and volt meter allows operators to accurately determine power requirements from any 12/24V DC equipment connected to it — invaluable for field assessment and planning.
A four-segment LED display shows battery status via a simple press-to-test button, providing an immediate charge readout for operational readiness checks.
Built-in analytical computer allows full battery data to be downloaded at any time, supporting maintenance schedules, performance tracking, and fleet management.
Dual outputs — AMPHENOL military sockets or bare-ended wire — provide maximum versatility, allowing the UBC 1 to connect to virtually any 12/24V DC equipment in the field.
Due to Ni-MH chemistry, the UBC 1 is exempt from the Class 9 Dangerous Goods Act — it can be transported by air, sea, or land fully charged with no hazardous goods restrictions.
The selectable 12/24V output and dual connector options make the UBC 1 the most versatile battery in the ATSI range — one unit compatible with the full spectrum of military and professional DC equipment.
Ni-MH chemistry means the UBC 1 is exempt from Class 9 DGR classification — transportable by air, sea, or land fully charged, with no special packaging, labelling, or carrier restrictions.
Tested globally, this product covers every area of operations without performance compromise in any climatic zone.
Switch to 12V mode to power a wide range of standard military and civilian equipment. Built-in meter confirms output voltage and current draw for accurate power budgeting.
Switch to 24V mode for compatibility with 24V military vehicle systems, communications equipment, and sensors without the need for a separate battery or voltage converter.
Exempt from Class 9 Dangerous Goods Act — the UBC 1 can be transported aboard military and commercial aircraft fully charged, significantly reducing logistical constraints.
Ni-MH construction is inherently safer than lithium alternatives and can be handled and decontaminated in the field without risk of thermal runaway.
