The Merlin (RMBP64/12) is a new generation of Nickel Metal Hydride battery. This unit is one of, if not the most advanced smart batteries in the world today. Both the outer and inside of the case have been treated with a special nylon coating which is resistant to most chemicals, including acid. All plugs and sockets are the Military AMPHENOL type and are totally waterproof, complete with dust caps. The purpose designed RMBC64/12 charging unit charges the battery in less than 5 hours, flat to full. A minimum of 600 recharge cycles can be achieved.
