The Hawk (RMBP64-24) is a 24V 64Ah Ni-MH battery with NSN 6140-99-957-9171. Operating from −20°C to 60°C (−50°C heated), featuring AMPHENOL connectors, chemical-resistant nylon casing, and a built-in analytical computer. Purpose-designed RMBC 64/24 charger charges flat-to-full in under 5 hours.
The Hawk (RMBP64-24) is a new generation of Nickel Metal Hydride Battery. With its vast range of working temperatures −20°C to 60°C (or −50°C to 60°C for the heated version), these batteries can cover all areas of deployment from the Arctic through to the Tropics. Both the outer and inside of the case have been treated with a special nylon coating which is resistant to most chemicals, including acid. A four-segment LED display shows the battery state of charge via a simple press-to-test button. A built-in analytical computer allows information to be downloaded from the battery. All plugs and sockets are AMPHENOL and are totally waterproof, complete with dust caps. The purpose designed RMBC 64/24 charging unit charges the battery in less than 5 hours. A minimum of 600 recharge cycles before a cell change and software update is required — after which a further 600 cycles can be achieved. Designed as a general-purpose battery with a very wide variety of uses: Covert, Overt, Medical, Remote unmanned re-broadcast station and many more.
Operational from −20°C to +60°C standard, or −50°C to +60°C in the heated version — covering every climate from deep Arctic to desert tropical environments without performance compromise.
A built-in analytical computer allows full battery performance data to be downloaded at any time, enabling predictive maintenance, cycle tracking, and fleet readiness reporting.
Inner and outer surfaces treated with specialist nylon coating resistant to most chemicals including acids — suitable for use and decontamination in CBRN-threat environments.
Four-segment LED display shows battery state of charge via a simple press-to-test button, giving operators an instant readiness check in the field without specialist equipment.
Military AMPHENOL plugs and sockets, fully waterproof with dust caps, provide reliable ruggedised connectivity for all field conditions.
A minimum of 600 full recharges before cell change is required. After a cell change and software update, a further 600 cycles can be achieved — maximising long-term value.
The Hawk is catalogued under NATO Stock Number 6140-99-957-9171, simplifying procurement through standard military supply chains and allied nation purchasing agreements.
The heated variant extends the lower operating limit to −50°C — one of the broadest operating ranges of any 24V battery system available, covering the most extreme cold-weather environments.
Tested globally, this product covers every area of operations without performance compromise in any climatic zone.
The heated version operates down to −50°C — exceeding the requirements of Arctic warfare, high-altitude mountain operations, and deep winter deployments in Scandinavia and Canada.
Delivers consistent 64Ah output at +60°C across desert and tropical environments — from the Middle East to West Africa — where battery reliability is mission-critical.
Waterproof AMPHENOL connectors with dust caps protect against moisture and particulates in all conditions including monsoon operations and river crossings.
Nylon-coated casing resists most chemicals including acid, enabling safe use and decontamination in contaminated or CBRN-threat environments.
